Just a quick reminder that we’ll be putting up the tents tomorrow (Friday) starting at 10am and hopefully finishing by 11:30. Please come along if you are available.
I have also attached details of how we will organise crews at the start this year. Can all start marshals please read over this before Saturday?
Can I ask everyone who is down on the rota to be a start marshal to come to the event briefing at 9:30 each morning and then stay behind after that so that we can allocate people to marshalling groups and answer any questions you may have on the marshalling plan?
The draw for Saturday’s sprint is now available at www.cofd.co.uk – racing from 11am onwards.
Can those racing please confirm availability on the new club calendar for boat loading at 6pm on Friday?
The club is thinking of travelling through to Aberdeen for the sprint races on the 25th August and the two day regatta in October planned for 27th and 28th.
If there is interest we can perhaps haul the trailer through otherwise it might be car topping some boats, give it some thought and let Robert know if you might be interested.
Details will be published on the Committee of the Dee website in due course (www.cofd.co.uk). Last years results are on that site which will give you some idea of what is involved – it’s good fun day and doesn’t require an overnight other than if you were to compete both days in October.
